gnuift-perl software package provides GNU Image Finding Tool - perl modules, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnuift-perl
gnuift-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnuift-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnuift-perl *
You will get with gnuift-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
